ゲームが人気なのはもちろん、小学生の間では替え歌も流行っています。
I tried to translate a popular parody “Banana” in English.
そこで、人気の替え歌「バナナ」を英語に訳してみました。
A parody song of Fortnite（フォートナイトの替え歌）
There are a lot of parody of the Fortnite.
フォートナイトの替え歌はたくさんあります。
- ”Hated by tomatoes”
「トマトに嫌われている」 - ”Burgers are hated”
「バーガーは嫌われている」
These original songs are “Hated by life itself.” but the original song of “banana” to be introduced this time is “Lemon” by Kenshi Yonezu.
これらの原曲は「命に嫌われている。」ですが、今回ご紹介する「バナナ」の原曲は、米津玄師さんの「Lemon」です。
It is no exaggeration to say that “Lemon” was the most popular song in Japan in 2018.
「Lemon」は、2018年日本で一番流行った曲と言っても過言ではありません。

これは学校に提出する英語の自主勉強です。

日本の小学校の中には、自主勉強も宿題として提出しないといけないんです。
So I translated this favorite parody song.
なので、ボクは大好きなゲームのこの替え歌を英語にしてみました。
覚えておきたい英単語・英熟語
I summarized the English words, idioms, etc. that I wanted to remember, which I used in this parody song.
今回の替え歌で使った、覚えておきたい英単語、熟語などをまとめました。
I wonder（～かなぁ？）
I wonderは、「なんだろう、そうかな、どうだろう」という意味です。
なぜかなぁ
誰かなぁ
などのように使います。
ain’t（口語）
ain’tは、be動詞＋否定語、have＋否定語として使われます。
- am not
- are not
- is not
- have not
- has not
どの場合でも使えます。
便利！
と思ったのですが、あまり丁寧な言葉ではなく、「～ではないです」という意味ではあるものの、「～じゃねぇし」のような感覚で使うものだそうです。
歌詞にはよく出てきますが、普段は使わないほうがよさそうです。
gonna（口語）
gonnaは、going toを省略した口語表現です。
wanna（want to）と同じく、よく使います。
友達同士の会話で使うのは問題ないですが、きちんとしたシーンでは使わないほうがよさそうです。
indeed（♪仕事探しはインディード）
最近CMでよく聞くワード「indeed」です。
意味は「本当に、実は、なるほど」などです。
kinda（スラング）
kindaは、kind ofのスラングです。
kind ofは、「ほとんど、だいたい、どちらかといえば」という意味で、ボクがよく使うのは「What kind of ～？（どんな種類の～）」です。
たとえば、
どんなフルーツが好き？ バナナが好き！
などと使います。
スラングとしてのkindaは、もっと気軽に、「ちょっと、なんとなく、まぁまぁ」というときに使えるようです。
